Cedar Crest provides Self Help Skills services to adults referred to the program by the local Community Living British Columbia (CLBC) staff. These individuals require non-residential support in order to maximize their independence. The services are provided in the community of 100 Mile House and are based at one of several locations operated by the Society.
Cedar Crest provides services to individuals and small groups, based on the identified needs of the participants. Personalized plans that reflect individual needs, wishes and preferences are developed and maintained. Individuals have their health and safety needs met and their well being promoted during their participation in the Self Help Skills programs.
Cedar Crest programs provide consumers with the opportunity to experience inclusion and make meaningful contributions to the community through occupational, vocational and social/recreational programs. Cedar Crest participates in integrated case management processes and activities. Cedar Crest works collaboratively with other contracted professionals as requested. The Society provides all necessary skills, materials, expertise and organizational/administrative support necessary to deliver these services.
